Design Disclaimer
Noah Concepts is a production design and CAD drafting firm. Nothing on this website, and no document, drawing, rendering, or file produced by Noah Concepts, constitutes engineering advice, structural analysis, or a certified engineering deliverable of any kind.
Nature of Services
Noah Concepts provides CAD drafting, spatial planning, stage design, artistic rendering, and production visualization services exclusively for the live touring and concert event industry. All work produced by Noah Concepts is intended solely for planning, placement coordination, and creative communication between production teams.
Not an Engineering Firm
Noah Concepts is not a licensed engineering firm, and its principal and staff hold no engineering certifications, licenses, or credentials of any kind. Noah Concepts is not a structural engineer, mechanical engineer, rigging engineer, electrical engineer, or any other class of certified or licensed engineer.
Nothing on this website, and no content, drawing, file, document, rendering, or communication originating from Noah Concepts, should be interpreted as engineering advice, a structural determination, a safety certification, or a professional engineering opinion.
No Load or Structural Determinations
No weight load, point load, dead load, live load, dynamic load, rigging load, structural capacity, or any other load-bearing specification is calculated, determined, implied, or warranted by any design document, drawing, or file produced by Noah Concepts. All such determinations must be made by a qualified, licensed structural or rigging engineer before any element is constructed, installed, rigged, or used in a live production environment.
No Reliance for Engineering or Safety Decisions
Any person, company, or organization that views, downloads, references, or otherwise uses content from this website or any Noah Concepts deliverable does so at their own risk. Noah Concepts expressly disclaims any and all liability for decisions made in reliance on its design work without independent, licensed engineering review and approval.
Noah Concepts shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, economic loss, or consequential damages of any kind arising from the use of, or reliance on, any content, drawing, file, or communication produced by Noah Concepts for structural, engineering, or safety-critical purposes.
Disclaimer of Warranties
All content, drawings, files, and information provided by Noah Concepts are offered "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, structural adequacy, safety, accuracy, or compliance with any building code, safety regulation, or engineering standard.
Third-Party Content & Links
This website may reference, display, or link to work produced in collaboration with third-party vendors, fabricators, or production companies. Such references are for portfolio and informational purposes only. Noah Concepts makes no representations or warranties regarding the engineering, structural adequacy, or safety of any third-party work depicted.
Client Responsibility for Engineering Certification & Rigging Safety
Noah Concepts delivers design drawings, CAD documents, and production visualization files solely as planning and coordination tools. It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the client, production company, venue, or project owner to obtain all engineering review, certification, and on-site safety compliance required by applicable law, jurisdiction, or venue policy — at their own cost.
Specifically, and without limitation, the client is solely responsible for:
- Engaging a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the state or jurisdiction where the project is located, to review, evaluate, and stamp any structural or rigging drawings prior to construction, installation, or use. A PE license is state-specific — a California-licensed PE cannot legally stamp drawings for a project in New York. The client is responsible for engaging an engineer with the appropriate state licensure for each project location.
- Ensuring compliance with ANSI E1.47 (the ANSI/ESTA standard for the inspection and maintenance of entertainment rigging systems), as administered by the Entertainment Services and Technology Association (ESTA) and accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable OSHA federal regulations governing structural safety, fall protection, and equipment handling for both permanent venue installations and temporary event rigging.
- Retaining an ETCP Certified Rigger – Arena (or Theatre, where applicable) certified by the Entertainment Technician Certification Program (administered by ESTA) to oversee and certify all on-site rigging installation, deployment, and load hanging. ETCP certification and Noah Concepts design documents are separate and independent requirements — the existence of a Noah Concepts drawing does not satisfy or replace ETCP on-site certification.
- Complying with any IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) union labor requirements imposed by the venue, jurisdiction, or collective bargaining agreement for work performed at height or involving overhead rigging.
Noah Concepts will incorporate written feedback from licensed engineers into design documents as a drafting service. However, Noah Concepts does not initiate, arrange, pay for, or assume responsibility for engineering review, and the incorporation of engineer feedback into a drawing does not constitute Noah Concepts' endorsement or certification of the engineering determination.
This disclaimer constitutes formal notice. Any client, production company, venue, or individual who proceeds with construction, installation, or rigging based on Noah Concepts design documents without obtaining independent, licensed engineering review and on-site ETCP certification does so knowingly and willingly, in full acknowledgment of this disclaimer. Such a decision constitutes the client's own negligence. Noah Concepts expressly disclaims, to the maximum extent permitted by law, any and all liability for injury, death, property damage, regulatory violation, or other consequence arising from the client's failure to obtain required engineering or rigging certifications. The client's choice not to seek certification, regardless of reason, does not create or imply any obligation, duty of care, or liability on the part of Noah Concepts.
Governing Law
